Pixel art is the exact opposite of my usual rather loose and free broad-stroke approach to painting. I love swooping brushstrokes, quick impressions, and shapes and form. Picking at detail is somewhat of a chore by comparison (a necessary chore, of course).
For my new blog project, TowerSecrets.com, I created a series of gifs in the likeness of the popular Disney Tower of Terror attraction:
I made them in Photoshop, probably 5 hours apiece (I don’t know if that’s a testament to their quality or my own slowness at pixel art).
