I just got back from a very sudden trip to Washington and I’ve been busy partitioning my life into cardboard boxes ever since! My new coworkers are great!! Some of them even play WOW 🙂 I think this is the beginning of something AWESOME!
My new apartment is in Kirkland, WA and I’ll be relocating myself there around December 9th. My worldly possessions will, hopefully, not arrive until after I do!
Other than that, I’ve been busy with moving. I won’t be back to pumping out art until late December, but I think it’s safe to say that my efforts have finally, FINALLY, paid off. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
They made an offer!!!! YAY!!! And there was MUCH rejoicing in the small medical building in Lemont, IL, across from the graveyard and down the road from the Carousel bar and its annual “Wheel of Meat”.
The company I interviewed with on Monday is supposed to contact me to let me know if I made it to the second round of the interview. The week’s almost over, and the suspense is building. I’m feelin’ lucky though, as this has been a week of good news. 🙂
After many, many weeks of searching, a company on my “short list” offered me a phone interview! I feel like it went very well and that the company itself could be just the place I’m looking for. I should know by the end of this week, which I now eagerly await with the eagerness of an eager child on Birthmas Eve. Eager!!
PS: Birthmas is what us close-to-Christmas kids celebrate 😀 It’s totally rad, and all you gifts-twice-a-year weenies with summer birthdays are missing out!
